LOBBY GALWAY COUNTY COUNCILLORS re: TRIPLE LOCK MOTION
November 24 @ 10:30 am - 11:15 am
Cllr. Martin McNamara will table a motion at the next Galway County Council meeting on Monday 24/11 opposing the government’s plan to abolish the Triple Lock and with that abandon Ireland’s long-standing policy of neutrality.
Already eight local councils throughout the island of Ireland have endorsed a similar motion.
In order that Galway County Council becomes the 9th local authority, we need to lobby county councillors directly to RETAIN the TRIPLE LOCK
Please attend at 10.30am outside the Galway County Council buildings, Prospect Hill, Galway City
to LOBBY COUNCILLORS to vote for the motion as they arrive for their council meeting.
Bring placards/peace flags/ any fliers you want to distribute on neutrality.
